Dear all,
The AAS PTA is excited to announce a Thanksgiving Pie Sale and Fundraiser! We are teaming up
with both Astoria’s Le Guli Pastry Shop and Brooklyn's award-winning Betty Bakery to sell
delicious Thanksgiving pies to the school community, with a portion of the proceeds going to the
PTA.
Our pie selection includes apple, pumpkin, blueberry, pecan, purple sweet potato, and cherry pies.
Yum! The price points are different for each company, and we negotiated wholesale pricing to
make this a fundraiser for the PTA.
Freshly baked pies will be available for pick up on Tuesday before Thanksgiving from one of our
"neighborhood hosts" this year in Astoria, Forest Hills, Long Island City, and Middle Village. The
staff at AAS can pick it up from that day from the school. Details about the exact locations will be
sent out closer to the date :).
There are two ways to place your orders:

2. Fill out the attached form and send it in with your payment (cash or check) and give it to Parent
Coordinator Johanna. Please label the envelope "PTA Pies" with your child's name and your name.
Feel free to share with family and friends beyond AAS. All proceeds go towards the PTA.
Deadline for pie orders is Thursday, November 10, so get your order in soon!
